I’m Satish Kumar Prajapati, I cracked NIMCET 2023, securing the 23rd rank and bagged NIT Trichy, I also aced exams like JMIEE, KIITEE, CUET, and CET MAH pretty easily. It might sound easy now but achieving all of it wasn’t that easy though, I want to thank my parents, my friends, and Maarula NIMCET Classes for helping me throughout my journey. Today I want to share some of my experiences from my journey with you guys.

Before clearing the MCA Entrance EXAM :-

When I first came to know about the fact that some NITs also offer the MCA course I was curious to find out what are the benefits that NIT gives ? So I did my research and figured out that the placements are really attractive, plus not to mention the NIT Tag that you get is a proud thing. So I then decided to go for MCA entrance exam preparation, and I joined Maarula Classes in September 2022. Joining Maarula’s NIMCET Classes was a big decision and a life changing event for me, It gave me the confidence that I needed to clear all the MCA Entrance exam.

Time of Result :-

Before the MCA Entrance Exam results were declared I was pretty confident that I would get a good rank, and I managed to get a decent rank in NIMCET, but then came some questions. I had also cleared the rest of the exams I had appeared for , and I had to make a decision to choose between these top colleges now : JMI, DU, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal, NIT Allahabad. But then I took some advice from alumnis of Maarula Classes who have been into NIT Trichy and also did the research and finally concluded that NIT Trichy is the best option for me.

So Why NIT Trichy ? And what has been my experience in NIT Trichy so far ?

Placement:-

his is no doubt the biggest attraction for everyone , right ? I did some research over the previous year statistics of placements of NITT and found out that NITT had the best placements.

Campus Life :-

I think there’s just no comparison to the campus life that NITT provides, no other college could even come closer to NITT in this sight ! We are always occupied and enjoying the campus routine. We literally live in a 800 acre campus full of greenery and beautiful atmosphere, everyone here has a bicycle and we don’t even feel the need to go out of the campus because everything is available inside the campus. There are malls, hospitals, salons, canteens, parks, stadium, swimming pool, gym, library, computer centre and what not !!

Senior culture :-

The best part about NITT is that the senior support over here is the best. Seniors here are not just your seniors but your mentors and friends. You will play sports with them, you will be mentored by them, you will have a senior just to help you out in academics and coding, you will organise events with/under them and nonetheless you will bond with them like a family. From stepping into the first day for admission to getting your placements, seniors take care of you all the time. Fun Fact – Seniors here will teach you more than the professors.

Peer :-

The students entering NITT are cream of INDIA, they are some of the brightest minds and their IQ and level of dedication is next just on another level. When you bond with such peer you are forced to improve yourself and you will be pushed to work hard. The competition is very high , there’s no such thing as “CS background” here everyone works hard and competes in the peer. All the students live inside the campus in hostels, just imagine the environment, you get to enjoy with your hostel mates, make friends, travel together , go for trips together, do night outs and make memories.

Events and Curriculum :-

This is what I was very excited about before going to NITT, the fests here are just hugeee !! There are sports events, dance events, tech events , music events and what not …. Every month or two we have fests and something is always being organised in NITT.

Downside :-

Fees :-

The only downside that one may think of from NITT is that it has very high fees. I will be honest and I do think that the fees is high, but when you experience the campus life It’s All WORTH IT.
